Flatonia ISD receives unmodified opinion on 2024–25 financial statements, trustees accept review

During the Jan. 12 meeting, Business Manager Rodney Stryk presented the annual financial review for fiscal year 2024–2025 in the absence of auditors from Roloff, Hnatek & Co., LLP. Stryk reported the district received an "unmodified opinion" on its financial statements, which he described as the highest available level of assurance.
Trustee Dan Sullivan moved to approve the annual financial review; Ashley Beeman seconded and the board voted 6–0 to accept the report. No auditor representatives were present to answer questions at the meeting.
