Fabens Alumni Association donates $13,000 in scholarships to Fabens ISD

The Fabens Alumni Association presented the Board of Trustees with a $13,000 scholarship contribution at the Feb. 18 meeting. David Sublasky outlined the association’s history dating to the Class of 1957 and said the 2026 funds will support six $2,000 scholarships and an additional $1,000 designated for lower campuses.
Sublasky read a short thank-you note from a previous scholarship recipient in which the recipient expressed appreciation for the support. The board received the gift and publicly thanked the alumni association for its ongoing support of student scholarships.
