Board approves August financials, quarterly investment report and ratifies HVAC/plumbing payments

Assistant Superintendent Julie Novak told the board that the August financial report included in the packet is not yet final because the Business Office is closing the fiscal year; the audited financial statements will be presented Dec. 17. Despite that caveat, the board approved the August 2025 financial reports and the quarterly investment report for June 1–Aug. 31, 2025.
The board also ratified payments made to Mission AC Plumbing for plumbing and HVAC repairs incurred during the 2024–2025 fiscal year. All motions passed unanimously. Novak additionally noted the Purchasing Report lists multiple purchases through Board‑approved cooperatives, including vehicles, Chromebook replacements, a network upgrade, a chiller, and installation of an electronic door access system at the elementary school.
