Board approves personnel recommendations after closed session
Summary
After a closed session Dec. 4, the Board approved hiring, restructurings, new positions, job descriptions, salary schedule changes and contract actions as presented by the Superintendent; the roll-call vote was 7-0.
Following a closed session, the Flour Bluff ISD Board approved personnel recommendations as presented by the Superintendent. Mr. Hooper moved and Dr. Needham seconded the motion to approve hiring of certified staff, staff restructurings, new positions, job descriptions, salary schedules, teacher and administrative contracts and miscellaneous requests; the vote was 7-0.
The minutes indicate that the personnel items were considered in closed session and then approved in open session by roll-call vote. Specific names, counts and salary amounts were included in the Superintendent's transmittal to the Board but are recorded in the personnel packet rather than in the minutes text.
