Board approves personnel recommendations after closed session
Summary
Following a closed session the Board approved hiring of certified staff, staff restructuring, new positions, contracts and other personnel items on Oct. 30. The motion to approve personnel recommendations carried 7-0 in open session.
After convening in closed session at 6:27 PM under permitted provisions of the Texas Government Code, the Flour Bluff ISD Board of Trustees reconvened in open session and approved the Superintendent's personnel recommendations. The actions included hiring of certified staff, restructuring of staff, creation of new positions, job descriptions, adjustments to the salary schedule, teacher contracts and administrative contracts; the Board's motion carried 7-0.
The personnel transmittal listing specific hires, resignations, transfers and equity increases was provided to trustees in the Board Information Packet. The minutes record that the Board acknowledged receipt of the Superintendent's personnel report and accepted the recommendations as presented.
