At its Oct. 30 meeting the Flour Bluff ISD Board of Trustees moved to support upcoming bond work by approving a Qualified Pool of Architects, adding York Engineering to the civil engineering pool, and establishing a pool of Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) and commissioning firms. The Board authorized the Superintendent or designee to execute Master Service Agreements with selected firms; the motion to approve the Qualified Pool of Architects carried 7-0.
Separately, trustees approved Service Order No. 4 with Stridde, Callins & Associates, Inc., under the district's MEP engineering pool for professional services to design and administer the junior high mechanical and electrical renovations. The Board also delegated authority to the Superintendent or designee to rank, select, and contract for four dugouts as part of baseball/softball field projects, with a not-to-exceed amount of $250,000. These procurement approvals advance design and construction readiness for bond-funded facility improvements.
