Flatonia ISD honors students and community volunteers; Thanksgiving meal and Veterans Day event noted

Flatonia ISD trustees recognized student achievement and community service at their Nov. 10 meeting. Elementary Principal Laura Kutac presented Bulldogs of the Month to Kinley Tipp and Byler Beck for classroom effort and leadership; Secondary Principal Gabe Adamek honored Jillian Seale, Ashlynd Judy and Jesus Vargas for academic and leadership qualities.
Athletic Director Drew Bridges presented the Bulldog Pride award to Brad Bass, the district’s longtime game announcer. Bass thanked the district: "Thank you for allowing me to serve." Administrators also told trustees the district served 422 students, 60 staff and 304 guests at the recent Thanksgiving meal and invited the board to the student-led Veterans Day program scheduled for the following day.
