The consent agenda included the minutes of the July 15, 2026 meeting; oaths of office; an appointment to the Water System Advisory Council; claims filed against the city; approval of a quote from Rentec Solutions for emergency repairs to a Vactor truck; acceptance of sidewalk easements from CCT Real Estate LLC for property at 650 East 8th Street; fiscal year 2027 beginning-of-year budget amendments; an award for downtown holiday lighting work in Centennial Park; approval to purchase a 2027 Ford F-250 4-wheel-drive pickup truck; reappointments to business improvement district boards; approval of a liquor license for the Taste of Downtown fundraiser; and selection of delegates to the Municipal Employees' Retirement System annual meeting.
Freeman moved to approve the consent agenda; Rowan provided support and a roll-call vote was taken. Roll-call responses recorded affirmative votes from Freeman, Raymond, Corbin, Scholteis, Mary Keane, Rowan, Shay and Mayor Box and the motion carried.
Several of the items on the consent list were procedural or preparatory and will return to the council in their respective forms (for example, the budget amendments and vendor contracts will be reflected in subsequent staff reports).
