The Steger School District 194 Board of Education met Monday, June 16, 2025, at Scrementi's Restaurant. Member Michele Helsel called the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m.; Member Nicholas "Nick" Hutchison moved to close the open session at about 5:21 p.m., a motion seconded by Member Jill Raymond that carried 7-0.
The minutes record that the board met in closed session under the self-evaluation exception of the Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(16)) for a listed Board of Education training by the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB).
