The Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees received an Anti-Bullying update from district leaders during its Feb. 23 regular meeting. Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Dr. Matt Bolinger and Director of Elementary Counseling and Student Wellness Dr. Precious Reimonenq, together with Area Executive Director Dr. Sandy Conklin, Student Services Carrie Smith and Executive Director Kendall David, presented the report as part of the superintendent’s updates.
During citizens participation, Jesse Hardin, president of Citizens 4 Strong Education (C4SE), invited trustees to a C4SE meeting and made "a community plea for anti-bullying inclusion," emphasizing the community's interest in district anti-bullying work. The administration’s presentation and the public comment were presented consecutively in the superintendent reports segment; the board did not take immediate formal action on policy during the meeting.
