LeighAnn Goodwin, assistant superintendent of finance, presented procurement results for Category 2 E-Rate services (cabling, switches, licenses). The district received 10 bids and selected Technology for Education (TFE) using a predetermined evaluation template that complies with state competitive-bidding standards. Goodwin reported the contract total is $146,298.22 and said "net of the 80% portion to be billed to the E-Rate program will come under $29,260."
Trustee Loyd Hopson moved and Cheyenne Kizer seconded a motion to execute the contract with TFE; the board approved the contract unanimously. The presentation listed competing bidders by name and identified Meraki switches as the Category 2 equipment to be purchased under the E-Rate application for the funding year beginning July 1, 2026.
