Grandview ISD board approves consent agenda, corrects minutes

Clint Ishmael called the Grandview ISD Regular Board Meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. and the board approved the consent agenda after a motion by Trustee Keith Miller and a second from Trustee Clint Calvert. The motion included amendments to correct the spelling of "Beverlea" on page one and to correct the year on the second page of the minutes; the minutes record six trustees voting in favor (Clint Calvert, Brad Collins, Beverlea Bons, Keith Miller, Derik Moore and Matt Slaughter) and none against. The minutes do not record a vote for President Clint Ishmael.
The board also recognized staff and community achievements: the Zebra Care Council led the pledge, Trustee Beverlea Bons led the prayer, Mrs. Randolph, Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Allen were recognized for earning national board certification, and Kariayn Mann was recognized for competing at the state swim meet. No public commenters spoke during the open forum.
