Newly elected Gordon ISD trustees sworn in; board retains current officers
Summary
At the May 13 meeting Mrs. Hendrickson administered the oath of office to Sarah Knight, Brett Trigg and Jim Ed Kostiha; trustees then voted to keep existing officer positions (President Kathy Culbertson, Vice President Sarah Knight, Secretary Jim Kostiha).
Three unopposed candidates took the oath of office at the Gordon ISD board meeting on May 13, and the board then voted to retain its current officers.
CBO Hendrickson administered the oath at 6:49 p.m. to Sarah Knight, Brett Trigg and Jim Ed Kostiha. Following the oath, Vice President Sarah Knight called for nominations for board officers. Trustee Brett Trigg moved that the current officers remain in place: Kathy Culbertson as President, Sarah Knight as Vice President and Jim Kostiha as Secretary. Trustee Kason Mobley seconded the motion; the motion passed on a recorded roll call vote (5–0; two absent).
The roster and officer continuity are reflected in the meeting's roll-call votes and will remain in effect until the board's next organizational action or election.
