District reports near-complete Weldon Auditorium work and lists community donations

Director of Maintenance Matt McIntosh told the board that work on Weldon Auditorium is roughly 95% complete and is expected to finish this week; the district's press box also should be completed this week. Mr. McIntosh said Avon Bateman is building a network for the Pelican system at Weldon.
Interim Superintendent Mike Morrison provided a list of donations received so far in the school year, including food and beverage donations for staff and students and supplies such as backpacks and school materials from local groups and businesses (examples: Gladewater Lions Club, Smallwood Company, Sabine Oil and Gas, Texas Roadhouse).
