Board approves library purchase lists after 30‑day public posting under Texas SB13

Superintendent Dr. Barrett Pollard explained that under Texas Senate Bill 13 the district must post proposed library materials publicly for at least 30 days and bring the lists to a public meeting for board approval. The district created a "Proposed Materials for Library Purchase" page under the Parents tab to host the lists and collect comments.
Pollard said there had been no comments so far on the primary and intermediate lists presented, and he recommended the board approve the provided lists. Trustees voted to approve the listed library items 7–0.
