Lead Huckabee Architect Mike Boyle presented the schematic design for the junior high addition and a new field house, and said the team will proceed to the design development phase if the board approves the schematics. Boyle noted that consultants are still examining the Intermediate roof and HVAC systems, so some cost estimates remain pending.
"We continue to have favorable estimates on the junior high and field house costs," Boyle told trustees. The board approved the schematic design and authorized staff and consultants to move to the next phase of work as Cloud Construction completes cost-evaluation tasks tied to the proposed $26 million bond package.
