The Chapel Hill Independent School District Board of Trustees opened its Sept. 15 meeting by approving a consent agenda that included a Smith County Extension Service resolution for 4‑H, budget amendments, donations, approval of minutes from Aug. 18, 2025, and the superintendent evaluation instrument.
"No one signed up to speak on these comments, so we're gonna move right to consent action items," the presiding officer (Chair, S1) said before trustees moved and voted to approve the items.
After the consent vote, the board received a sequence of information reports: a STEAM Academy update from Kissam Intermediate, a human resources dashboard, an annual purchasing cooperative presentation and a facilities update on ongoing bond projects including renovations at Bulldog Stadium. The superintendent advised the board the district will provide monthly progress updates on the stadium project.
