Board approves small budget reallocations for Akin Elementary and Carr Middle School

The Hale Center ISD Board approved two budget revisions during the April 14 meeting: $4,500 was moved at Akin Elementary from supplies and materials to professional and contracted services to cover professional development on the Math Stemscope curriculum; and $860 was reallocated at Carr Middle School from general supplies to professional and contracted services to cover travel for a gifted-and-talented director conference. Both measures were moved by Paul Chandler and approved 7–0.
