Groesbeck ISD reports CCMR progress; district accountability rating rises after TEA appeal

The Groesbeck ISD Board received an overview of College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) on Feb. 24 as staff explained the metric’s weight in accountability and the district’s current completion figures.
Evan Ditmore told trustees that "40% of our district’s accountability rating is based on the CCMR points" and reported, "68 out of 114 seniors are complete, with 4 planning to join the National Guard/Army, 24 planning to achieve through TSI or College Prep Math & English, 13 planning to earn an IBC, and 2 IEP or workforce readiness." Following a data resubmission and an appeal granted by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), Ditmore said the district’s updated accountability rating rose to 73 and the campus rating rose to 79.
The presentation linked specific student pathways (college readiness tests, industry-based certifications and military enlistment) to accountability points; trustees did not record additional motions tied to the presentation.
