Board delegates execution authority for CMAR agreement with Champco

Groesbeck ISD trustees voted to delegate authority to the board president to sign the Owner–CMAR Agreement and General Conditions Agreement with Champco, Inc. for the 2025 bond projects, in an amount not to exceed the CMAR proposal.
At a special meeting March 30, 2025, Groesbeck ISD board members approved a resolution delegating authority to Board President Aslone Foy to execute the Owner–CMAR Agreement and General Conditions Agreement with Champco, Inc. for the district’s 2025 bond projects once the documents are finalized by the district attorney, architect and the CMAR.
Trustee Jason Milstead moved the delegation and Trustee Jim Longbotham seconded. Milstead’s motion stated, "move that we delegate authority to the Board President to execute the Owner-CMAR Agreement and General Conditions Agreement with Champco, Inc. for the Groesbeck ISD 2025 Bond Projects when finalized by the District's attorney, architect, and the CMAR, in an amount not to exceed the total amount set forth in the CMAR's proposal." The motion carried with the board recording votes For: Aslone Foy, Jim Longbotham, Jason Milstead, Stephen Bradley, Angela Crane and Bridgett Jackson-Tatum; Sindra McLean was not listed on that motion.
