The Groesbeck Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the district’s Internet Safety Policy and affirmed compliance with the Children’s Internet Protection Act after a brief public hearing on April 21.
Deana Rand presented the policy and "stated that there are no changes from last year," and the board approved the policy on a motion by Jason Milstead, seconded by Stephen Bradley. The motion carried unanimously among members voting at that time. The approval follows the district’s annual review to ensure filtering and safety procedures meet CIPA requirements.
