Viviana Gonzalez Gago, owner of Sana Yoga, said she opened a second studio in Union after seeing a gap for diverse, authentic yoga offerings in the area. "I'm Viviana Gonzalez Gago, the owner of Sana Yoga," she said, noting she now operates studios in Union and New Providence and that opening two studios in under two years was a major milestone.
Viviana described the first‑visit routine — book via the Sana Yoga app or Mindbody, bring a mat or use studio props — and said the studio emphasizes varied teaching styles and music to create an inclusive atmosphere. The studio's address in Union is 1016 Stuyvesant Ave.; she added there is back-of-building parking at 1020 Stow Street. "Feel, heal, Sana," she said when asked for three words that describe the studio.
Viviana said the business offers workshops, private events, fascia‑release sessions and a teacher training that begins in January. She also encouraged prospective entrepreneurs with advice from a mentor: "rip the Band Aid and just go for it and be yourself while doing it."
