President Frank DeSimone asked for a motion to approve the April 28, 2026 minutes; the board moved, seconded and approved the minutes by roll call. The board then considered the warrant in the amount of $3,775,073.88; after a motion, a second and roll‑call responses from trustees the board approved the warrant.
President DeSimone also presented a resolution to advise and consent to his appointment of Terry Schneider to the Community Development Commission to fill a vacancy created by a resignation. "We had a commissioner resign from the CDC leading the vacancy... he would like to appoint Terry Schneider to replace that vacant term," the presenting staff member said. The board approved the resolution by roll call.
These items were approved without substantive debate. The appointment now awaits any standard onboarding procedures for commission members.
