Following a closed executive session, the Hudson ISD Board reconvened Feb. 19 and approved a slate of personnel actions for the 2026–2027 school year, including extension of multiple 12-month term contracts by one year and approval of numerous 11- and 12-month employment agreements.
The motion to approve the 11- and 12-month term and probationary contracts and employment agreements was made by Ashlyn Cole and seconded by Aimee Slusher; the motion carried unanimously (6–0). The minutes list specific employees whose contracts were extended (for example, Richard Crenshaw, Barrett Lankford, Ryan Westbrook and others) and name many employees receiving 11-month and 12-month agreements. The minutes do not include individual contract terms, salaries, or the total fiscal impact in the meeting record.
The board's approval followed executive-session deliberation under Tex. Gov't Code §551.074 (personnel). The motion in open session recorded the board's formal action but did not attach individual contract documents or compensation details to the minutes.
