The Hudson ISD Board approved a resolution on Feb. 19 authorizing compensation for employees for workdays lost during an emergency school closure on Jan. 26, 2026 and for the delayed start on Jan. 27 when those days will not be rescheduled.
Aimee Slusher moved to approve the resolution and Reagan McClenny seconded; the motion passed unanimously (6–0). The resolution covers pay for employees when the district determines the lost workdays will not be made up at a later date. The minutes do not specify which employee categories or pay schedules are affected, nor do they list estimated costs to the district.
