Hudson ISD board approves consent agenda, School Health Advisory Council appointments and improvement plans

At its Oct. 23 meeting the Hudson ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda by unanimous vote. Dr. Shawn Penn moved and Mr. Chris Smith seconded approval; the motion carried unanimously (7–0).
The consent agenda included approval of the minutes from the Sept. 18, 2025 regular meeting; notation that there were no donations for the month; appointment of community and parent members to serve on the School Health Advisory Council for the 2025–26 school year; and approval of the District and Campus Improvement Plans (strategic plans) for 2025–26. The minutes record the roll-call vote as seven in favor and none opposed.
