Trustees approve bond-funded CTE computers, construction testing contracts and Sunfield temporary-classroom repairs

During its April 27 meeting the HAYS CISD Board of Trustees approved three infrastructure and procurement items tied to bond and capital projects. Trustees authorized a 2025 bond-funded purchase of computers for Career & Technical Education Engineering and Architecture labs from GTS Technology Solutions for an amount not to exceed $233,904.92.
The board also approved contracting Raba Kistner and UES Professional Solutions for professional construction and materials testing for 2025 Bond projects for an estimated $830,000, and approved 2021 bond-funded repair and renovation of temporary classrooms at Sunfield Elementary not to exceed $219,110. Each item passed by a 7-0 vote.
