Steger board approves salary ordinances and an inducement resolution; bills paid

The ordinance passed with the following recorded votes: Lopez, Stewart, Trotier, Joyce and Perchinski aye; Thurmond abstained.
The board then adopted ORDINANCE No. 1332, fixing salaries and wages for non-management, non-union employees, by unanimous roll call. The body also approved RESOLUTION No. 1193, providing an inducement related to potential improvement of real property within the village, by unanimous vote. Earlier in the meeting trustees voted to pay all bills when funds are available; that motion carried on a unanimous roll call.
