The board also approved Budget Amendment 24-08 to record appropriations for the JHS Weight Room Expansion Project and to record planning revenue and expenditures for the M-PACT grant from the Moody Foundation; the Jasper Junior High School Targeted Improvement Plan; the 2026-2027 Jasper ISD calendar; a Maximum Class Size Exception Waiver; a Low Attendance Day Waiver; and certification of provision of instructional materials for 2026-2027. The motion carried by a unanimous 5-0 vote (Bean, Spadaccini, Few, Wolfford, Bevil).
