Town accountant Bill Empsall requested and received read-only access to Community Bank online records to support accounting oversight; the motion to grant access was moved by Councilwoman Lemire and seconded by Councilman Wilson and carried.
Town Justice Diane Wisnesky presented cashbook records (December $178.00; January $1,450.00) for board review; the clerk turned in $10.00 for January ($1.00 to NYS A&M and $9.00 to the town). The board approved a new dog control contract with Penny Landry (signed by Supervisor Onufer) and a contract with Tisdale for testing of the old landfill for 2025. Supervisor reported receipt of $75.00 from the Franklin County Traffic Diversion program and $16,984.20 from FCSWMA. The board reviewed the savings statement and Supervisor's general fund monthly statement for January 2025 and approved them. The minutes note a FOIL (FOIL/FOIA) resolution will be discussed at the March meeting.
