Constable Fire Department fundraisers tabled; department receives half of 2025 contract payment

Members of the Constable Fire Department presented a proposed schedule of fundraisers for 2025—Spring Brunch (March 30), Garage Sale (May 3–4), Chicken BBQ (June 7), Golf Tournament (July 26), and Fall Brunch (Oct. 26)—and requested a resolution to approve them. The board tabled that resolution for later consideration.
The department provided an updated roster and noted that four members require updated physicals. The board discussed discrepancies between the department's 2024 budget and actuals and accepted further explanation from department officers. Supervisor Onufer presented Fire Department representative Jason Trombley with a check for half of the 2025 contract amount: $42,660.00. The Fire Department portion of the meeting was then closed by motion.
