Superintendent Rose Mary Mares recognized multiple students who qualified or placed in state competitions, including State Golf Qualifier Sage Voges; state track finishers Kristyn Ybarra (seventh) and Mason Barr (fifth); State Tennis runner-up Ava Lowe; girls' doubles qualifiers Nayeli Rivera and Sabrina Rodriguez; and mixed doubles qualifiers Olan Sanchez and Olivia Wernette.
Campus leaders Cora Beth Roberts (Meyer), Tracy Tapia (Woolls), Tim Graff (McDowell) and Tammy Neuman (high school assistant principal) provided campus updates. Assistant Superintendent Robert Knight presented a maintenance and operations update; Sandra Sexton presented a food service update; and Cassie Aelvoet presented the Special Education update. These items were presented for board information and to inform upcoming operational planning.
