The Hudson Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously certified the district's 2024-2025 financial audit on Nov. 20 after a presentation by Dan Raney, auditor with Goff & Herrington, P.C. Mrs. Aimee Slusher moved to certify the audit as presented; Mr. Chris Smith seconded the motion, which passed 7-0.
The board also accepted a $2,000 donation from Hudson Cheer and approved the district's monthly financial and investment report. Dr. Barrett Lankford presented the investment report, and Mr. Chris Smith moved to approve it, seconded by Dr. Shawn Penn; that motion carried unanimously. The consent agenda earlier in the meeting included amending the budget to reflect the donation.
