Warner also recommended replacement of commercial combi ovens at four campuses (Henderson High School, Henderson Middle School, Northside Intermediate and Wylie Elementary/Primary). Singer T & L was recommended at a proposed cost of $281,014.10 to supply the ovens; the board approved that purchase by a unanimous vote. Administration said the purchases are intended to improve meal service functionality and to maintain required food service fund balances.
