Nikki Warner told the board that, as of Feb. 28, 2026, the total market value of Henderson ISD’s investments was $31,455,232.16. She reported $22,572,396.43 in operating funds and $8,882,835.73 in debt service investments; the portfolio composition was described as roughly 40% commercial paper, 4% treasuries and 55% funds held in the district’s money market account. Interest earnings through February were reported at $644,914.29 for the fiscal year.
Following the financial and investment updates, the board considered and approved the consent agenda on a motion by Trustee Shannon Coats, seconded by Trustee Justin Scarborough. Items on the consent agenda included approval of the March 17, 2026 regular meeting minutes, a CSA and MOU with Region 7 for the LASO 4 TMT Grant, the purchase of Bluebonnet learning materials for 2026–27, and approval to purchase cheer uniforms. The motion carried 7–0.
