Junior High and UIL Competitions Recognized at JEFFERSON ISD Meeting

Staff members recognized students who placed in recent UIL competitions and the junior high One Act Play. Dr. Tim Phy and Lori Cherry announced UIL placers including Emaleigh Burgos, Catcher Hitchcock, Melody Moore, Wesley Morris, Levi Catcher Hitchcock, Caydence Galeazzi, Kriya Desai, Bentley Shepherd, and Rylee Morris. Courtney Braddock and Lindsey Whitaker introduced Trevalyn Marsh, who recognized junior high One Act Play placers including Ashley Dominguez, McKenzee Gibbons, Kyhlen Means, Kara McCoy, and Xylia Omar.
Additional junior high UIL placers and students coached by Mitzi Neely were recognized with long lists of names recorded in the meeting minutes. These items were presented as part of the reports section and did not require board action.
