Hillsboro ISD certifies May election and administers oaths to two trustees

The Hillsboro ISD Board of Trustees formally certified the May 2026 election at its May 11 meeting and acknowledged the election of Gerardo (Jerry) Carbajal, Place 2, and Guadalupe (Lupe) Mancha, Place 4. Both newly elected trustees completed and signed their Statements of Officer, which the board clerk will retain on file.
Judge Bob McGregor of the 66th District Court administered the Oath of Office to the two trustees during the meeting. Board President Chris Teague made the certification announcement at the start of the public session.
