Trustee Blythe Koch moved "to uphold the administrative decision reached at Level II," a motion that Secretary Ellen Lee seconded. The motion carried by a 3 to 1 vote. The minutes record that the Board had convened the closed session at 7:35 a.m. pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code to consult with the district's legal counsel about legal and procedural matters related to the appeal and that the Board reconvened at 8:42 a.m.
No public comments were offered during the meeting. After the vote on the appeal, the Board took no further action on other business and adjourned at 8:43 a.m. on a subsequent motion by Trustee Blythe Koch, seconded by Finance Officer Doug Woodward, which passed unanimously.
