Board approves Clay County AD budget, shifts meeting dates and passes routine consent items

At its May 11 meeting the Henrietta ISD Board approved several procedural and budget-related items: trustees approved the Clay County Appraisal District’s budget, agreed to change board meeting dates to support budget planning, and adopted routine consent items including April minutes, the April tax report, and payment of bills.
Trustee Dee Ann Littlefield moved approval of the Clay County Appraisal District budget and Trustee Nala Chambers seconded; the vote was recorded as 6-0 with one absence. Trustees also voted to change meeting dates, scheduling a Budget Workshop and Regular Meeting on June 11 and a Special Meeting on June 29 to approve the budget. Brandie Watson presented the District Financial Report and the board made no amendments to the 2025–2026 budget as presented.
