For the Edge 2 and EMA parking-lot rehabilitation program, staff recommended awarding a construction contract to Schroeder Asphalt Services. Staff said four contractors submitted bids and Schroeder provided the lowest and most responsible bid at $871,003.74; the agenda item listed $871,374. The board approved the construction contract and also approved a construction engineering services agreement with Civiltech Engineering for $97,545 to provide on-site inspection, materials testing and as-built documentation. Separately, the board authorized an emergency repair contract with KD Landscape for $18,760 to fix a retaining wall behind Memorial Field damaged by heavy rain.
