President Bruce Dowdy asked for a motion to reappoint Mike Blakeman of Pulley, Martynowski & Blakeman as the Village Auditor; Trustee Tammy Wilson moved the nomination and Trustee Caleb Grover seconded it. "A motion was made by Wilson, and seconded by Grover, to rehire Mike Blakeman of Pulley, Martynowski & Blakeman as the Village Auditor," and the motion passed 6-0.
Dowdy then moved the discussion to a possible 3% increase in water and sewer rates as authorized by ordinance and noted specific concerns about the water rate for SNAWS. After discussion the board did not adopt a change and tabled the proposal to the May 5, 2025 meeting for further consideration.
