Jourdanton ISD board orders Nov. 5 election for two single-member trustee seats

The Jourdanton ISD Board of Trustees voted Aug. 12 to order elections for Single-Member District 5 and Single-Member District 7 to be held Nov. 5, 2024.
Trustee Phillip Netardus moved to order the election for Districts 5 and 7; the motion was seconded by Trustee Vance Jupe and passed unanimously. The minutes list Trustee Nicole Rakowitz as a candidate for Single-Member District 7 in the meeting materials.
The board also approved a Joint Election Service Contract with the Atascosa County Elections Officer to administer those Nov. 5 elections after Trustee Kendall Schorsch moved for approval; the motion carried 7–0.
