Board approves personnel actions and extends probation for director after executive session

The Central Square Central School District Board approved instructional and non-instructional personnel actions at its Nov. 18 meeting. A motion (Fischmann/Tackman) covering staff appointments, tenure appointments, resignations, terminations, leaves of absence, substitute appointments, and position changes was adopted unanimously, 6-0. Later in the meeting the board entered executive session to "discuss matters leading to the tenure of one particular person." After returning to open session, the board approved an agreement extending Ryan Oyer’s probationary period to Nov. 30, 2025 (Patch/Fischmann). That motion also carried 6 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstain according to the minutes.
