George Mauldin, Safety & Emergency Management Director, reported to the Budget Board that his office is prepared to schedule ultrasound sessions on several dates at four locations to handle a high volume of participants. He said about 150 people are expected to take advantage of the free offer, but that scheduling and sign-ups would proceed only if the Board of County Commissioners grants approval later in their meeting.
Mauldin said he would distribute sign-up information if the BOCC approves the program. The minutes show this as an informational report; no formal BOCC action is recorded in the Budget Board minutes.
