Cleveland County commissioners unanimously approved a consent docket at their Aug. 18, 2025 meeting that included several contracts and ARPA-funded projects. Items approved included a hazard mitigation plan update agreement with L.E. Marshall Consulting for $18,333.32 (July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026), an ARPA professional management invoice to ADG Blatt for $12,262.50 for the month ending July 31, 2025, and a $20,000 one-year proposal for third-party administration services through Johnston & Associates (Occusure/Compass).
The consent docket also authorized a Public Standard, PLLC engagement for accounting services not to exceed $19,100 during the contract term and a signage quote for the OSU/Election Board portion of the Fairgrounds renovation for $3,497.23. The board approved an ARPA-funded District 1 concrete pad extension for the Salt/Sand Barn (labor quote $8,436; estimated total project cost $19,380) and multiple departmental items for the district attorney, election board, IT subscriptions and sheriff's office maintenance agreements. Chairman Jacob McHughes moved to approve the consent items as presented; Rod Cleveland seconded and the board voted McHughes yes, Rusty Grissom yes, Rod Cleveland yes.
Clerk's notes accompanying the docket corrected several inventory and document references (for example, changing an item reference from B331.0205 to B331.0215 and correcting the word "permit" to "lease" on one item). The approvals allow the county to proceed with contracts and ARPA projects listed in the consent items without separate further action unless subsequently removed from the docket.
