Karnack ISD board approves February financial report, Budget Amendment #4 and a resolution permitting minor budget adjustments

The board approved Budget Amendment #4 for the 2025–2026 fiscal year after a motion by Trustee Kristi Stephens and a second by Trustee Robert Broadnax. The board also approved a resolution authorizing the superintendent and/or business manager to make budget adjustments or amendments that do not change the overall total appropriations of the adopted 2025–2026 budget, provided each adjustment is placed on the next regular board meeting agenda for information. All three measures passed 4–0 among trustees present.
