County approves transfers for fairgrounds training and corrects insurance refund posting

The Cleveland County Budget Board approved two separate transfer actions on Sept. 8. First, the board approved a $3,000 transfer from Fairgrounds Revolving Fund capital (128700-55000) to Fairgrounds Revolving Fund travel (128700-53000) to cover employee training; the motion was moved by Chris Amason and seconded by Marilyn Williams and carried unanimously.
Second, the board approved an error-correction transfer after an insurance refund was deposited into the wrong account. Douglas Warr moved and Chris Amason seconded transferring $21,997 from County General Fund Maintenance & Operations (100124-54000): $7,500 to Sheriff Service Fees personnel (116500-51000) and $14,497 to Detention Center maintenance & operations (116552-54000). The motion carried unanimously.
