He explained TIP411 allows residents to send tips and photos in real time to police and enables the town to push notifications directly to the community.
The board discussed timing: CodeRED service does not expire until February 26 (date as spoken in the meeting), giving the town time to build and push out the TIP411 service and move residents to the new system. The chief and the chair thanked one another and the board voted to accept the grant and move forward with implementation.
