Brad Jones, a resident, criticized the town's part-time town manager arrangement and asked whether the position is delivering daily oversight. He said the position pays "between 75 and $80,000" for 25–30 hours per week and urged the board to consider abolishing or revising the role if it is not meeting needs. "You have a part time town manager making between 75 and $80,000 ... 25 to 30 hours a week?" he said.
Jones also raised questions about statutory residency requirements for board members and committee appointees and alleged procedural problems with last month's resolution that he said was outside the posted agenda. The town attorney and supervisor responded that legal counsel had advised the board on those points and that some matters were constrained by statute; the supervisor closed the public comment period and directed staff to follow up on raised issues where appropriate.
