Kerrville ISD approves personnel actions; one trustee votes no on professional appointments package
Summary

Trustee David Sprouse moved approval; Trustee Pete Calderon seconded. The motion carried 6–1 with Trustee Andree Hayes voting Nay.
In a separate recorded action, the board approved the administrative professional appointment of Richard Surles as School Marshal at Nimitz Elementary for the 2025–26 school year. That appointment was moved by Trustee David Sprouse, seconded by Trustee Rolinda Schmidt, and passed unanimously 7–0.
